In order to build this wonderful Universe for our Card making friends, we used the wonderful Ning platform for hosting. The rest of the SNR site, including the Forums and Gallery are on a seperate server, and require a seperate sign in/login. This login is free and easy! We are sorry for any confusion this might cause, and appreciate each and every one of you!! Thanks for joining us in the Universe!!

New Featured Cards

I chose a variety of cards for this week's Featured Cards - two of them have wonderful handmade embellishments on them, one is a SET of cards and the other two have lots of yummy layers. They're ALL beautiful and unique!

March:

Ready to have you projects published in the hottest magazine on the
web? Here is your chance! Scrapbook News and Review is looking for
the following cards for it's March issue:

Cards:
Angels: We'd love to see cards that feature angels. They can be artistic, child-like, or just plain fun.
Numbers and Letters: Do you have cards that feature numbers or letters? The can be chipboard, Thickers, stamps or more.
Paint: Paint is such a fun medium to use and is amazingly versatile. We'd love to see what you've done with it! It can be everything from acrylic to oils to watercolors and everything inbetween.
Spotlight: Spring Fling: We're tired of winter and want to see Spring, so we're looking for cards with butterflies, flowers, sunshine, and more.
Featured Cards: Sympathy
Product: Ribbon: How do you use ribbon? As an accent, in a bow, maybe as a flower? There are lots of great ribbon ideas out there and we'd love to see yours.
Technique-ly Speaking: Digital Stamps: This is a call for any cards made with digital stamps. Show us how versatile these gems can be!
By Style: Clean and Graphic
Faith Based: We're looking for cards of faith. They can be anything that features a Bible verse, a faith-based sentiment, or a faith-based symbol.
ABC: Gift Boxes: Have you ever used your paper or supplies to make a gift box? Perhaps for candy or to hold gift cards? We'd love to see.
Fabulous Folds: Sliding Window, Criss Cross and Pocket


Stamping: Please note: stamping calls can include stamping on cards, ATC's, inchies, mixed media, altered art or whatever your heart desires.
For Theme: metallic embossing powder, Perfect Pearls or UTEE
Got Stamped: Time/Clocks: Time is ticking and we'd love to see projects that include time-based stamps such as clocks, calendars, etc.
Reader Spotlight: Inspirational: This can include poetry, quotations or any inspiring sentiment.

To Submit:
--All Pages/projects should be submitted by March 1, 2010.
-Images should be no larger than 550 pixels on the longest side.
--Image names should include card name and your name...For Example: Happy Birthday by Mary Smith.jpg
--Please include complete supply list in submission
--Please include contact information.
--Pages may be previously seen. If chosen, we respectfully request they be removed from any blogs or galleries. An 'Out for Publication' sign will be provided upon request.

Please note: although no board code and smiley buttons are shown, they are still usable.
